Winter Is Here: Whitby Events to Look Forward to This November

The temperatures may be lower, but your Whitby events calendar is showing no signs of slowing down this November! From getting your comic on to rocking out with the stars, here are the best events in Whitby to look forward to this month.

Bootleg Blondie

After moving her show from November 2020, Bootleg Blondie is back with this stunning tribute act to Debbie Harry herself. Come along and join the world’s #1 Blondie tribute, featuring hits such as Heart of Glass, Call Me, Maria and many more. You can catch the whole gang at Whitby Pavilion Theatre from 7:30pm.

The Great Pudsey Paintathon for Children in Need

Flex your creative muscles while raising funds for an essential cause with The Great Pudsey Paintathon. Ideal for both adults and children, this event at the Whitby Kiln will give you the chance to paint your very own Pudsey bear and raise money for Children in Need. Pop along and take a paintbrush from Saturday 20th November from 10am to 6pm.

Whitby Unleashed: Comic-Con by the Sea

Love yourself a bit of comic book culture? Come down and see some of your favourite superheroes, games and literary characters at Whitby Unleashed: Comic-Con by the Sea. With special guests waiting to sign your autograph books and hundreds of photo ops, this one is unmissable for any self-confessed pop culture geek. See it for yourself at Whitby Pavilion on Sunday 21st November from 11am.

Whitby Ice Skating

Whether you’re a skating novice or a regular Torvill and Dean, everybody is welcome at Whitby Ice Rink, which opens on Friday 26th November. As part of Whitby Winter Festival, the rink will open its doors in the town centre on the Endeavour Wharf car park. Bring the whole family for these festive one-hour sessions, available until Sunday 2nd January 2022.

Christmas Adventure Quest

Santa’s dusted off his sleigh for 2021 and his first stop is Whitby. Come down and get the whole family into the Christmas spirit with Christmas Adventure Quest at Whitby Abbey.
