April Cottage

Our delightful cottage is Grade II listed and located in White Horse Yard, a stone’s throw from the hotel. It sleeps up to 6 people in 3 bedrooms (1 x superking, 1 x king, 1 x double). The superking can also be set as a twin.

April cottage perfectly blends traditional features with modern day comforts and convenience. Guests staying at the cottage are welcome to take full advantage of facilities at the hotel such as the Residents Lounge or book in for breakfast at a preferential rate. A copy of our current menus are included in the Guest Welcome Pack and we operate a delivery service throughout lunch, dinner and Sunday lunch service.

GROUND FLOOR:

Lounge / Kitchen / Diner: Characterful open plan designed room with beamed ceiling features. Sofa, coffee table, built in book shelves and feature fire place with open fire (fuel provided). Entrance lobby with coat hanging area. TV with Freesat .. Large dining table with spacious built in bench seating. Gas hob, electric oven and grill. Fridge with ice box, dishwasher, washer dryer and microwave. Semi spiral staircase with a wooden banister feature leading to:

FIRST FLOOR:

Bedroom 1: Super king sized (or twinned) bed, built in wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinets, reading lamps and Freesat TV. Views over the pan tiled roofs. Bathroom: Bath, shower over bath, toilet, washbasin, shaver socket, storage cabinet. Large heated towel rail. Semi spiral staircase with a wooden banister feature leading to;

SECOND FLOOR:

Bedroom 2: Beamed ceilings. King sized bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bed side tables with lamps. Views over the roof tops to the sea. Bedroom 3: Small double. Double bed, reading lamps.

OUTSIDE:

Opposite the front door are 2 out buildings: 
First Building: This is a traditional outside toilet.
Second Building (access available on request): This is an additional utility room with a washing machine, freezer and space for storing bikes.
Pets: One dog welcome, additional cleaning charge applicable.
Parking: Limited on-street free parking available along Church Street on a first come first served basis. Nearest Car Park is 100 yards away on Church Street (£9 for 24hrs)
Heating: Gas central heating.
Outside: Small paved seating area at the front of the property with bistro table and chairs.
Additional Information: Towels and linen provided. No smoking at this property. WiFi available throughout.

Please Note: Entrance to the cottage is located through the cobbled yard to the rear of the White Horse and Griffin. There are 2 short flights of stone steps, We will, of course, assist with your luggage but it may be unsuitable for guests with mobility issues. Please call for further information.
